BIOS of the band (DD Anderson)

DD Anderson: Lead, Harmony Vocals. DD has 30 years experience as a singer. She got her start in gospel, singing for “The Cordaires” and soon moved into Pop and Country music, being a founding member of “Southern Gold”. DD appeared on the TNN’s “Be a Star in 1995, placing second. The Atlanta Society of Entertainment named her “Female Vocalist of the Year” in 1996 and 1997. In 1998 she was placed in the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame. In 1999 DD performed at The Grand OLE Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
